Mechanism of action

Mycophenolate mofetil API is an immunosuppressant prodrug that is converted to the active form, mycophenolic acid (MPA), which inhibits the de novo synthesis of purine nucleotides, essential for the proliferation of T and B lymphocytes, thereby preventing organ transplant rejection and treating immune-mediated diseases.
